Mylan's Financial Business Systems group has a position available for a May 2012 graduate or an alumnus of our program. The Financial Business Systems group provides tier one process and application support to Financial Systems users of the corporation's financial systems by analyzing problems and recommending appropriate courses of action in an Sarbanes-Oxley Compliant environment.

Basically, this position entails collecting user requirements and working with the IT folks to develop systems to meet those requirements. It looks like an excellent fit for our students!

OIT has established a project management and planning office, and they are looking for some MIS students to work there. Initially, these students will help with basic things such as document management and control on the PMO SharePoint site, where all project related documentation is held, and general MS Office and web projects. Students that are interested may also be more involved with the project management process, helping with internal audit requirements, etc. These positions could begin immediately, and students would be eligible to work up to 20 hours per week during the academic year, and 40 hours per week in the Summer.

Candidate Qualifications:
· Senior class student: Business or Communications Major with IT minor;

MIS Student Worker Position

Here's a very good opportunity!

WVU Training and Development is seeking a student worker to work cooperatively with staff to build and develop an Access database that will track information regarding professional development programs.

Qualifications:
-Computer skills: Microsoft - Excel, Access, and Word
-Demonstrated understanding of Access databases (understanding of spreadsheets, database management, linking tables, creating queries that pull data from multiple tables, and preparing professional reports)
-Gathering/analyzing information from multiple relevant sources, categorizing, developing possible connections, and breaking down data into separated parts to be tabulated and verified
-Thinking creatively to enhance ideas and systems
-Good documentation skills as well as excellent communication skills (will meet with staff to explain/record processes)

Global Talent Development Systems Consultant( Job Number: 1011910) Description

Proactively work with the Global Learning & Organizational Development (GL&OD) HR Systems Manager and the broader GL&OD Team - to review, enhance and manage the HR Systems and GL&OD Training and Education resources, in particular: core HR Systems e.g. MyLearning, MyDevelopment and MyPerformance, program delivery and core e-learning. Excellent oral and written communications skills and customer service orientation. Superior Microsoft Office skills are required, particularly Excel.
